It has been an absolute pleasure delivering inclusive books to thousands of families. We are really proud to have set up the first inclusive and representative children’s book subscription service in the UK.
But with recent world events and ongoing fulfilment issues, it has become impossible to continue working as we have been.
Product Update!
It’s also time to update our product. We need to take some time to think about how we can continue our mission to help more children to see themselves in the books they read. To work out how we can help more children to become engaged global citizens and think of the most effective way to create a more cohesive, compassionate and kind society, filled with enthusiastic readers!
Work with schools and corporate partners continues
Little Box of Books isn’t stopping. Despite halting the subscription service, we are going to continue to develop our work with schools and corporate partners. We have a mission to deliver 100,000 books to children this year.
So, there are still lots of ways for you to continue to support our work to diversify bookshelves all over the UK. Buy bundles for schools which will still be available on our website, get your work place involved in sponsoring your local primary school library or buy our monthly recommended books that will also be featured on our website.
