Festive Frenzy: A media roundup

The Christmas gift guides are full of wonderful PR opportunities for small businesses at this time of year. As early as July we all get in touch with journalists, wooing them with our products in the hope they will feature us in their best picks of the season.

Getting diverse books into the mainstream media is no mean feat, there are lots of brilliant companies out there, doing incredible things but we’ve done it, so here’s a very quick round up of where we have featured so far.

The Independent selected us as one of their favourites presents for 0-3 year olds.

We were recommended by Stylist as a gift that will make you feel good.

And as their staff picks of favourite present ideas for Christmas.

And finally we got a lovely slot in the Daily Mail, in the Femail Christmas Gift Guide, who advertised our big boxes as their favourite presents under £100.

We are delighted with these endorsements of our business and delighted that with every post, every mention, every news article, more people are talking about diverse kids’ books. And if you want to know why that’s important, watch this short advert from Knights Of, one of the publishers we work with to supply you with these brilliant inclusive and representative children’s books.
